While at Oberlin College I played for the Varsity Men's Lacrosse team for all 4 years. My final year I had the honor of serving as a captain. During the summer between my junior and senior year I did an internship in Tokyo, Japan. While doing the internship I created a plan for trying out for Team Japan in the 2018 Lacrosse World Games.
After I graduated in 2017, I moved to Japan and played for a team called Advance-Hangloose. Through my play with Advance I was invited to tryout for Team Japan. I made the Team Japan 50 man roster in December 2017. In May 2018 I made the Japanese National Team and travelled to Israel in July for the 2018 Lacrosse World Games. Later in 2018 I played in an exhibition game between Japanese players and professionals from the US where I was selected MVP by the professional players.
I moved back the US at the end of 2018 and tried out for the Denver Outlaws professional lacrosse team in May of 2019. I made it onto the team as a practice squad member. Unfortunately my season was cut short due to an injury.
In 2019, I moved to Pittsburgh to pursue my MS in Information Science. Although recovering from an injury I stayed involved with Lacrosse by coaching Chatham University Men's Lacrosse team.
Due to my injury and then COVID19 I have not been able to play, but I am still training! I coach in the Pittsburgh area so if you know any young players that want private coaching, let me know!
